Excellent find!  They even predicted electric power.  But the date was a little optimistic.

I'm sorry i forget the translating note

"croquis original de Gustave Girrane

En 1900, un inventeur trouvera les minuscules automobiles électriques et portatives, que chacun pourra facilement posséder, parce qu'elles seront à la portée de toutes les bourses.
Plus de piétons, tel sera le résultat ! "

in english:

original sketch of Gustave Girrane

In 1900, inventor found electrical and portable tiny car that everyone can have easy, because they will be within reach of every budget.
there is no more pedestrians, such will be the result ! "

This vision of that future is reality for my wife and me today.

I reflected to the World’s Fair in Chicago of 1893 and the 600 acres that would be travelled by people in human carried carriages and wheelchairs, even without a handicap.

Recently I went to that area and travelled the area in my MiniPro.  I imagined what it would have been like over 124 years ago.

Electricity, movies, cars, and planes were in its infancy.

So was the Segway.
