vido
Is anyone else having trouble pulling out the trolley handle? I push the button directly in the middle and tend to have to wiggle the handle forward and backward before it comes out straight.
flass
Yes, that is how it is. It is one of the parts of the wheel that I find to be the least robust.
SeabirdHH
@vido Just the same on my KS. It takes up to 10 seconds to get out the trolley handle. Not really suitable for everyday use. When you insert it, it mostly locks only on one side, so that I have scruple to carry the 15 kilo device.
August Y
Its a little wonky but mine comes out fine.. make sure you are pulling straight up and not angle the retraction at all..
EricGhost
I agree there are better handlers in 50euros suitcases than my over a thousand euros KS16 bought on 27june2016. I am afraid the two years warrant by ks france will be tested soon, let's hope they do not say it is consumption (in out in out .... And so on) material outside maintenanace
Toma
Same here, I must admit it gets a bit frustrating after a while of trying.
SeabirdHH
Hello @Maestro72x, you say" It's a little wonky but mine comes out fine" ... isn't that a bit contradictionary? I always try pull it (very) straight up. But perhaps I must use a spirit level!?
DS
What I found operating the handle is if I do not apply firm and straight pressure down in the middle of the button, there is always a chance of failed retraction up. The same goes for locking down the handle - I have to press firm and equal down in order to lock it both sides.
