For sale: Grey Rockwheel 16"

Love my Rockwheel 16 but finding less time to use it and want to put the value to other uses.

I'm 6'3" and 210 pounds and it absolutely accelerates with no problem. The speed is phenomenal.

The condition is good/fair. I admit that I did bang it up a bit when I first got it learning how to ride it. Also some screws come loose that I have to re-tighten from time to time.

I bought it for $1600 in July 2014 from a USA distributor and am accepting offers. I can provide photos if there is interest.

I will post it to eBay for the purchase mechanism.

More to the point. Is it a geared one, it probably is and if so how much use has it had in a year and is it making any strange noises or rocking when at rest? They're known to wear out fairly quickly.

Sorry for my delay. I was not receiving these messages. I posted it to eBay: http://csr.ebay.com/sell/success.jsf?itemid=291557708453&mode=revise&draftId=471757668602

Listing text follows:

Check out Rockwheel videos on Youtube. Similar to Solowheel but much faster. This is the bigger of the Rockwheel models: 16".  I'm 6'3", 200 pounds and it zooms me along just great. 10mph or so easy. I can get about 5 miles on it with a full charge. Great for going along long boulevards, long trails and sidewalks, etc. Bought in July 2014, $1600 from NYC distributor. Loads of fun. Includes charger. Fully charges within 2 hours. Has some nicks but still runs like a champ.

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Will not ship internationally, only USA.

<< Is it a geared one,

I think so. Let me know how to confirm, and I will.

<< if so how much use has it had in a year

I used it 2-3 times per week for about 4-5 months.

<< it making any strange noises or rocking when at rest?

no. runs like a champ.

I'd like to get $US 1K for it but there is no minimum on the auction. Latest bid is $430. Auction expiries on Sunday.

I'm willing to ship internationally if the bidder can provide the info of what I would need to do in advance, eg, via UPS or Fedex site. The trick is to research the requirements for each country with respect to shipping a Lithium Ion battery. Let me know in advance, and I will add the country to the listing for shipping.
