bpong Posted November 19 Posted November 19 y'all; this question is meant for very experienced seated riders. ive been only riding seated now for a few months and i cant say enough praise about the lynx and seated riding. for the most part, my seated riding starts well, and both my legs and core are locked to the euc for about 30% of the ride. however, as my ride progresses, my upper body seems to twist slightly counter-clockwise so that my right shoulder is leading by abit. its irritating and i can square off my shoulders but after a few more kilometers, my right shoulder again leads abit. what tricks or posture change would be used to keep the riders shoulders square to the direction of the euc while seated riding ? my posture on the euc is the following: i use a low height seat, and both feet are on the outer half of the pedals, with my feet forward biased. my front pads are only 1 1/2 inch thick which allows me to squeeze the euc firmly with both legs. my legs are moderatelly bent and most of the ride has both my body weight on the seat and pressure on my pedals evenly split. basically, im ready to stand up at any given moment. may be it could be i need more months of seated practice (which means next spring since winter is just around the corner up here...) to solidify my seated posture. i dont know, and its a f'ing mystery that plagues me every ride while seated. i cant say enough about the lynx and seated riding...its so comfortable and stable seated even at 50kph with downtown traffic...now if i could just stay facing forward into the direction of travel consistently...
