slippyfeet Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Ok, this intrigues me flat, thin, unobtrusive, not flashy. This and the E25 have my attention. 1 Quote
Sholphin02 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Is this the A2 with MTEN5 specs we are waiting for ? Is this the end of my Tesla replacement quest ? I sure hope so 1 Quote
Asphalt Posted November 12 Posted November 12 (edited) Looks like some heat management design on the top case. Hopefully this suggests decent performance. Curious how this will affect the IP rating. Also, notice the conspicuous lack of trolley handle. Edited November 12 by Asphalt trolley observation Quote

(Same placement) Yeah, although it looks like the vents are on both sides of the handle. Placement of hot vents next to where you have to grab a handle isn't the most ergonomic design, especially because it seems to be a floppy mTen4-like handle. But after the disappointing release of the Begode Future, I could live with this design as long as it's performant. 1 1 Quote

slippyfeet Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I’ll take this if it has the same specs as the mten4, but rides more like a 16S/18L 1 Quote

Why would they make a wheel better than the A2 and name it the A1? It would be super cool if it was a lighter-weight suspensionless Falcon but I wouldn't hold my breath. 1 Quote
slippyfeet Posted November 13 Posted November 13 My hot take is this could perhaps be a prototype for wrong way’s collab wheel. Lots of performance wheels out there atm but no modern spec’d lightweight symmetrical trick wheels. Just throwing my thought out there since I got pretty bang on with my nosfet prediction before launch. Quote
Funky Posted November 13 Posted November 13 They need to fix that Floppy dick handle.. Also i want those sexy honeycomb pedals - that every single other BEGODE wheel has! Flat pedals with Grip tape is outdated.. Also add some kind trolley.. Tire spacing seems to be lacking.. (I know it's just a prototype.. Just saying right now what needs to change!) 1 Quote
Funky Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) You can already tell from size.. It has Top placed battery - very little Wh, more likely 750Wh.. (Maybe less, as it's top compartment looks way smaller.) More in league with Mten5/A2.. Just weaker. Closer to Mten4 performance, because of bigger tire. Probably another 84V wheel. Nothing compared to Falcon. Looks like E25 counter. Sad.. Edited November 13 by Funky Quote
BKW Posted November 13 Posted November 13 While I haven't ridden other smaller EUCs, other than the mten4, this looks very comfortable to ride due to its shape. The discomfort on the mten4 is one of its greatest cons in my opinion. I'm liking the ergonomics Quote
Funky Posted November 21 Posted November 21 If it has that updates Falcon axle (4x bolts). They add trolley handle and hard sturdy carry handle (not the cloth tissue handle). Then it would be kind of awesome - i guess? It's 14" wheel right? Look way 2 small to be 16". I would like to guess it's around 18kg from looks. Probably around 20kg. But it's body/tire is on thinner side compared to A2, so it should be lighter?? Then again have you guys seen "Future" wheel at 16.5kg from Begode.... Quote
Sholphin02 Posted November 22 Posted November 22 (edited) For me it looks like a falcon without suspension. So a 16' As for the soft handle it is very easy to swap for a solid one. I agree on the trolley. They must fit one to build the ultimate mobility wheel Edited November 22 by Sholphin02 Quote

And it has big fat 3.5" tire. (People call it 14"..) A1 tire is on narrower side. So maybe it uses 12" rim? Don't see them making new motor/rim just for one wheel - they like to reuse all the motors... So yeah, probably 10" rim with 3" tire.. It just looks so narrow. Edited November 22 by Funky Quote
