DocTalos
New rider here. Just trying to get a feel for riding (Begode T4 Pro). I logged my last ride just to see what it would look like. I clocked an average 2.7 mph difference between EUCW and gps, but the thing that makes me really really nervous is that I set a tilt back speed in the Bogode app for 25 mph, and this ride says I hit 40!!! Now I definitely heard the EUCW speed limit announce I was over speed, but as soon as I heard that I slowed down. I don't remember feeling any tilt back, but maybe I just missed it? I am not a speed demon ... and set the speed limit at 25 for a reason (I never planned to go faster than that. For this ride, I just wanted to feel what 25 felt like so I would know). Here is the graph ... wait can't figure out how to add to the post, but here is the link. The only think I can think of is that eucw overrides the tilt back speed from the begode app? (hopefully not the 75% pwm alarm ....) https://imgur.com/a/GAdVnMX

Don't know what the time scale on your graph is but your ride looks like a followup of speed spikes and brakes. A short (and ?strong?) acceleration to 40 mph with "instant" deceleration can make it hard to "feel" the tiltback, especially on a new wheel. You have logged pwm % (safety margin)? Edit: is 48 mph max no load speed right for your wheel? If so accelerating up to 40 mph could really make one nervous Edited October 27 by Chriull
DocTalos
Yes, I'll check safety margin when I get home. peak speeds were downhill if that makes a difference.

If there was regenerative breaking during going downhill that's a very different operating state as normal driving and eventually begode wheels do not tiltback during braking? Maybe none? Never thought or read about this...

Is it PWM? so that if I hit 20% I should be feeling the 80% PWM tilt? or is it something else? And if I hit max free speed going down hill ... I probably still fall over. Also looking at the graphs again ... I think I eucw is over estimating speed at the peak points. I'm probably only hitting 37. Still way too fast for me, but maybe not catastrophic. I'm happy to add any more metrics that might be of use ... https://imgur.com/gallery/2024-10-27-ride-w-safety-margin-ZUfxSpo
Bizra6ot
Did you use another app for the gps speed or is it based on euc world data too? Bc sometime it reports kph masked as mph to the app, 42kph=25ish mph so just before your tilt back get triggered Also your safety margin does not match with 40mph on your wheel at this speed you would be at the limit of the cut out or already on the ground depending on your battery % Check in Euc world in the "Wheel" settings that the “Distance sent in miles” is enabled
DocTalos
Ahh this probably explains, ok it was not enabled ... Now it is. That would explain the lack of tilt back ... Because that was programmed using the begode app in mph. All of a sudden I feel much better about how close I was to cutting out ...
