Donald1800
I recommend a different approach using the KISS principal - Waterproof the boards so that an open ventilation system can be effectively and efficiently implemented using multiple coats (3 at my facility) of Krylon Clear from spray cans on boards AND FETs mounted on electrically insulated Heat Sinks. Now you can open up the heat area, funnel moving air (ambient or fan powered) over the heat generating areas and out the case without damaging the electronics! I've stated this approach before where waterproofing was discussed. Works great, lasts a long time, and is still repairable using a dedicated soldering iron to remove the Krylon encapsulation. Polpus
Not bad idea .. I would only be a bit concerned on coating the heating component (mosfet) as this would might increment their temperature
