Solonward Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Hello all. I’ve been riding on a 16s Pro now for 7 weeks and super digging it now. Nothing out of the ordinary, but as I lifted the euc out of my trunk space, my finger turned it on, I heard the normal beeps as it was booting up, felt a little bump of internal as it seems to engage tire spin for a fraction of a second. By the time I sat it down, it was without power. Now it won’t turn on at all???Ive held the power button for over a minute, nada. If anyone knows best next steps, I’d appreciate it. briefly skimmed over another post for a different wheel w same symptom. Recommended checking and replacing blown fuses. This is my first EUC and while I’m a “techy”, I have next to nothing knowledge on the circuitry within this wheel. If indeed the right next thing is finding the blown fuse, how would one do that correctly? I’ve got all the tools and such, I just assume there is a process I should follow so I don’t damage anything as I attempt to fix another. lol. Anyway, thank you ahead of time for your help. Have a great day. Quote
UniVehje Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Contact your dealer first. That wheel should still be under warranty. Don’t open it before talking to your dealer. But if you have to fix it yourself, you probably find the fuse on to control board which is in the top box. If the wheel started to spin in the air and you suddenly put it down, that could blow a fuse. In worst case the whole control board is ruined and can be replaced relatively easily. Quote
Solonward Posted September 17 Author Posted September 17 Thank you for the feedback. As I began the opening up process, it turned on when I held the button. I’ve turned it off and on several times and it looks normal in its functioning. After work I plugged in the charger (prior to it powering up again) and nothing happened on the euc. It remained dark, while the charger began to indicate red for a few seconds, then green for prob 8 sec, then back to red and so on. figured it an almost certainty that electrical failure like this indicated complete loss of voltage and current to everything Pointing to fuses or blown boards The fact it came back on scares me a bit I’ve no idea the root cause and wonder what happens if that occurred again while I’m riding? Flat on my face after it drops me? lol I’ll update after I ride tomorrow Thanks again for the direction Have a great evening 1 Quote
UniVehje Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I don't know about S16, but I had S22 (similar design) and it has the power button below the frame. On my wheel it once was turned to the side a bit and didn't work. I checked the button and straightened it and then it work. I suggest you check your button also. That could explain your fault. Quote
