Wow! A great deal indeed. If I didn’t already have the V13 I would buy this wheel. This will sell quickly.

Someone asked so here is the information.

If you look near the bottom you will see the eWheels warranty was for one year. The LeaperKim warranty is for two years. The announcement for the warranty change was announced on this website and that link is included below. It appears the wheel was still at the factory on 12/17/22 so if we use that you have about four and a half months remaining on the warranty.

The suspension is as advertised. Below is the order information from eWheels. 175 pounds is at the low end this suspension.

Thank you for your order

[Order #54200] (January 8, 2023)

One Year Warranty from eWheels plus Two Year Warranty from LeaperKim. LeaperKim warranty announced on electricunicycle.org on December 2, 2022. As seen at the following web site:

https://forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/31037-leaperkim-veteran-extends-factory-warranty-on-all-of-its-euc-models-2yr-controllermotor-18mos-battery/

Sherman S suspension options:

Key features and specifications: 3 suspension options: 58lbs (for 50-80kg riders), 68lbs (for 80-90kg riders) and 66lbs (80-120kg riders)

175 pounds = 79.4 kgs - You should have considerable headroom.

As you can see I have the heavy suspension.

Not at all. Last summer I had to have some surgery on my foot. Based on how slow I am healing I have been advised that an injury to my lower extremities, ankle, feet; etc., may keep me off my feet for two to three years. That means no real walking other than preparing meals and going to the bathroom. That doesn't sound like something I'm interested in going through so the wheel has to go and eventually my bicycle will have to go as well.

Sorry to hear about your injury and ongoing challenges, I hate to see someone leaving the game.
I know a friend that had a nasty bunion surgery and never really got over the trauma, perhaps the bunion was better overall.
Hope you mend and get your wheel sold. I have a couple questions.

What is the average street price on this wheel?
Is the warranty transferable?
I weigh a plump 215lbs, or 15 stones, would the suspension be adequate for my weight?
How would a buyer send payment?
I am glad to see wheels holding on to their value.
Thanks!

I just noticed you said it was from eWheels.
So don't bother with that question as eWheels is rock solid on support.

And to sweeten the deal, eWheels shows the Sherman S to be sold out.

Thanks for letting us know. Hope you can recover soon.... 2 - 3 years is a long time! I myself already have 8 different wheels, one of which is Sherman S. that will outlast my life, 64 now; otherwise, I'd have considered yours. Good luck on finding a new home for a great wheel!

This wheel has been sold. Very sorry for those interested. It was a new wheel with maybe 30 miles on it.

And if someone can tell me how to show sold in the title I'll make that change as well.

Click on the three dots to the right of your first post and hit "edit" it should pull up the title to edit as well.

  • Kitty changed the title to *** Sold *** - Sherman S for sale - Nearly new
