4000 Wh, 226.8 V, 4P, 50S, battery configuration.

54 cells x 4.2 V = 226.8 V

54 cells x 3.7 V x  5 Ah x 4P = 3996 Wh.

People don't seem to be overly excited about the Commander L (Bison).

Begode needs to show their Sherman-L killer means business.

Why not propse 420v? Make it 100 cells even.

Let see.

100 cells x 3.7 V x 5 Ah x 2 P = 3700 Wh.

2 P, and not 4000 Wh.

A non-starter to begin with.

If you're going to use 25A cells like the 50S (medium current cells) then perhaps 75A sustained is enough for speed runs. That's 3P (25Ax3).

Let's say they aim for 3330Wh. That comes to 180cells of 5Ah each.

For a 3P pack based on 180 cells it's a 60S3P pack =  252.0v

But odd numbers of packs has not been a popular battery configuration.

What is the compelling reason to go with an odd number of packs?

The 50S cells can only be stretched to 252v and 3 packs is my point. Or 189.0v in a 45S4P config for 3330Wh.

If you're fine with 4440Wh then 252.0v is possible with 60S4P.

Maybe the 50S2 with more current can enable 2P packs for lightweight racing machines.
