ersi Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Hi all, I've been investigating this issue on the internet. Symptoms are very similar to this guy on youtube: https://youtu.be/j3-SDGQCghM He later shows on a short video that his mosfets were indeed fried (after a user suggested that on the comments) https://youtube.com/shorts/EEdVdsYzRJI?si=DOUIHeWHh9W-KSBg Only fix is to change motherboard. But it is maybe not my case, I went to check below the mosfets and everything looks and smells ok. And before I spend ~185 euros on a new board or taking it to the store (no warranty, so it's gonna cost a fortune just to have a look at it), I want to know what else I can check ? I can provide closeup photos of stuff if you tell me which stuff to look at. Thanks in advance! 1 Quote
ersi Posted July 3 Author Posted July 3 Also, travel mode is off (never turned it on in the first place). Calibration checked too. 1 Quote

Did you reconnect the tiny hall sensor wire that comes from the motor? If the wires got damaged and are shorting out or severed, that could also exhibit this problem. Try spinning the motor by hand. Is there any resistance? Wire/mosfet problems often show up as a significantly tougher motor to spin. It's like magnet braking. When I fix flats I never touch the motor wires. I split the case instead of trying to drop the motor out of it. You can even leave many of the board side screws on like the L-hangers, battery packs, etc. Quote
