YCC Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Does anyone know the difference between C38 and C40 motor? As far as I knew, only few wheel equipped with C40 motor, like EX30, Master Pro and ET max. Why? Quote
DavidB Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Wheelgoodtime did a comparison video of the ETMax and Extreme bull 168V competitor. I think from memory he preferred the C38 of the EB to the C40 of the ETMax. 1 Quote
DavidB Posted June 27 Posted June 27 I think that C40 (168V) had curved magnets. I guess the theory being the gap between the stator and the magnets is smaller so better(?). Theory and real world sometimes don't work the same. 1 Quote

Rawnei Posted June 28 Posted June 28 (edited) C40 has wider magnets (40mm vs 38mm) and possibly different windings as well, thus adding more torque but less top speed, since they are increasing the voltage you can get both high torque and high speed, maybe they decided C38 was the best middle ground. DE WOLF Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Any pictures of the c38 tile motor? And performance wise comparison Quote
