JakeWheels Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Please shut me down immediately if this is a stupid question, but would it be possible to install an Mten-4 motor into my Mten-3? The difference in size can be solved through shell modification and new mounting holes (like iCafe Sweden’s ‘Monster Mten), however the Mten-4 motor is about 200w more powerful if I recall correctly. Is the limiting factor the firmware? What would happen if I tried to install it? My Mten-3’s motor is on the way out, leaking air from multiple spots (not just the bead/rim), and the concerns of a weak axle. Would love if a solution like this was available so I wouldn't have to buy an entirely new wheel, and just upgrade the part I need! Thanks! 1 Quote
Hellkitten Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Did you manage to make this work? I’d love to hear your results if so. Quote
