KCRider Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I was riding my EYU.CO V5 l ast night and it took a tumble. I lifted it up and turned it back on and it turned on but no longer would maintain an upright position. When I would roll it it was jerky in motion. I took it apart and unplugged the battery. When I went to plug the battery back in it sparked and smoke came out of the XT-60 connector. Any thoughts on what caused this? No visible damage on the PCB.
dmethvin Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Looks really familiar. http://imgur.com/1AlKFqZ What it probably means is that your control board has a dead short. Is it under warranty?
KCRider Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 It should be but the company is denying it's their product even though I have a receipt. Is that something I could repair by replacing the control board?
