When you say "Not flicker", do you mean switching from red to green for like 15 mins? Because that si what is happening to mine and I am not sure if I have a faulty charger or if this is normal for this wheel....

yes, that is what mine does. i haven't verified if the other charger does that or not, but jason at ewheels says it is common.

Have you ridden the Lynx with just the 40mm forward offset plate without the lowering bracket?  I'm wondering if the shift forward gives a similar amount of leverage increase to the lowering bracket.  Could make a solid pick for a more offroad focused setup that can't afford to lower due to pedal clipping.

just sent this to ewheels support.

my 66lb lynx is exhibiting weird trolleying behavior.

tilts back and then forward.

i rode it for an hour around the ranch today and i felt the same tilting as i rolled out t the pasture. i'm guessing a hall sensor is loose?

whatever it is, i'm not riding it until this is fixed/solved!

the 70lb doesn't do this. this is exactly the reason i have to buy multiples of the same wheel.

Perhaps related, this person was advised by LeaperKim representative to contact seller for a new control board:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/ElectricUnicycle/permalink/7389905501107349/

no, like i say, both wheels identical. that's why i buy two.about 270 miles on this one and 130 miles on the 70lb one that doesn't have this problem yet.

so methinks i better not ride this lynx anymore until this behavior is corrected. stupid to ride a known defective wheel when u have plenty of others that work just fine.

big black mark for lynx. i hope there's a solid answer.

now i'm wondering if i should park the 70lb one as well until this is sorted out. i know i'd feel a whole lot better knowing what is causing this.

update, i calibrated the wheel per ewheels support and the problem seems to have gone away.

Faulty board, don't think you need to worry about your other one.

calibration fixed it. it's probably been doing that weird tilting behavior since new, but since i barely moved them by hand, and then riding my moonscaped pastures, haha, never noticed it until i was looking for it the other day riding slow on my road.

besides the extra width(17mm each side) making the wheel feel like power rack and pinion steering, the "hold angle" stepping off is perfect for my 6' height and legs.

haha, the hardest transition after 7 frigging years of squinching up my big toe on my right foot to apply more juice in areas where needed, haha, was convincing my big right toe to relax. i kept telling it, "it's ok baby, u don't have to contort anymore to make the wheel go".

here's why the trolley handle apparatus works horribly.

i've already emailed jason with the fix.

leaperkim needs to remake this plastic button piece so it doesn't flex.

i've already fashioned a reinforcement plastic piece i've prepped and used golf club head 24 hour expoxy on.

this hole too close to the edge.

JW. Why not just move the orange hanger forward one place and mount with only 6 bolts. Would that not hold?

You are right

hou and i must have worked on designing this backplate for weeks.

lots of mechanical bonds to account for.

if i got another lynx, i would absolutely do thd same to it.

lynx pedals are damn good i think.

longest pedals of my  bunch.

when i ride the v13's for a couple of days, and then switch back to a lynx, haha, it's like a pair of old hush puppies.

so freaking easy on this horrible terrain.

the v13's strengthen my legs to make the lynxes so much better. the lynxes allowed me to get better.

dropping a 90 pound wheel on urself in a maneuver is better than dropping a 120 pound behemoth on u.

trolley handle junk back together.

it might improve with age now that there's lubricant on the catch/release device.

but the new screw and new pieces are installed and if i hold my mouth just right, it works, sometimes.

I was thinking… would this have been another option for forward or backwards shifted pedals as well?
use either of these style that attach and have the pedal plate drilled and tapped and use one of the three ways. If the base couldn’t be tapped than only 6 bolts would be used if In The forward  position.
