Oily
Having now racked up a staggering 658 miles on my generic 132Wh Chinese wheel, I've just ordered my next wheel ! (and had to tell someone). I'm on a budget, but have managed to get a 30km/h, 348wh, 500W wheel from a relatively well known Chinese company (Freeman). I'll write a proper review once I have it, but it should be here (the UK) towards the end of next week or early the week after. Olly

It is worth pointing out the 500W, 340Wh KingSong 14C is limited to 25kph, only when introducing the 800W, 680Wh did they allow the speed to increase to 30kph or more. IMHO, 30kph would not be safe on a 500W wheel, to reach that high an RPM would require a higher kV value for the motor which would have to have a trade off of lower torque, making the wheel much more prone to failing due to over leaning, etc.

I found also the point 2 in their rules quite contradictional:
Oily
Thanks for the replies. The 30kmh isn't my ultimate goal - I was looking at a microworks upgrade to my current EUC (500w motor, and 30kmh main board), but I can't get more than a 178wh battery in it, so decided that for about an extra $100, getting a whole new wheel was worth the risk of a relative unknown make, and I can still sell my current wheel. The warning buzzer comes in at 25kmh, which is still a HUGE improvement over my current 15kmh with pedals at full tilt & feeling awful, so in reality, I probably cruise at 11-12kmh, my new wheel should mean I can double that & at least double the distance. I'll keep you posted !

Noname Chinese batteries are...well, I don't know for EUC, but have bad experience with such batteries for my phone and laptop.
Oily
I have it under good authority that they are genuine Samsung, imported directly from the factory in South Korea....

So it's Not Limited to The 680wh Version ....
andress
I am also getting this wheel. It should arrive tomorrow. I already have generic EUC 14 inches 350W 132Wh and Kingsong 14 800W 680Wh si I plan to write comparsion review.

Oily
Looking forward to pics and opinion. As a result of 2 bank holidays in the UK by bank payment has been delayed! How long did it take to arrive once you purchased it?
andress
Do you know if you have to unlock the higher speed somehow? If not then I might have gotten the slow version.. Hopefully I will hear from @Bush soon.Photos - https://goo.gl/photos/gf2jzEwvF5NvWgK97 I transfered money on 3.3.2016. Shipping itself took 2 weeks. It probably took longer since I asked for specific color which they didnt have in stock.

I still think 30kph just doesn't match the rest of that wheel's specs! I hope you do manage to unlock it OK but I recommend you don't hold your breath waiting. How fast is it going currently? How does it stop you going faster: tilt? Beeps?
Oily
There is a normal version which does 18kmh and a High speed "hs" which in theory can do 30kmh with a beep at 25kmh and I believe tilting at 30kmh. Hopefully just a running in period - I guess you can tell by seeing if 350 or 500 is visible on the actual wheel? Forgetting the speed for a second, how does it ride though? andress
Ok, so I really received the slower version I am not yet sure if it is caused by just the board or if I have the 350W motor instead of 500W as well. I should get the answers tomorrow. The ride compared to generic or kingsong is much harder - similar to ninebot set in one of the harder settings. It starts tiltback at around 15kph and beeps at 17kph. At 18 kph it is so tilted I didn't have the guts to push it further. I got the version with 264WH battery. And it seems there is enough power - idling or faster accelerations have so far been managed. The big black plates on the sides that look like padding are in fact just thin layers of silicone so there is zero padding - similar to generic euc. It is not too bad when riding but I understand why their packaging includes shinguards The speed display is cool feature. The LEDs in front and back show battery status when stationary and colorful effect when in motion. So to see the battery status you have to stop. Does anyone speak french here? Because from the http://beeper.fr/371-one-road (rebranded freeman) it seems like you can adjust the height of the pedals but I don't speak french so maybe just bad interpretation. IDK if to write more about this version as I think we are all really much more interested in the high speed version. Riding max 15kph comfortably seems really slugish compared to my KS cruising speed of 30kph. So I hope the high speed version of freeman can get me at least 25 cruising speed then I think it is really good euc for the price.
Oily
Hi, On your invoice, does it list an A4 or an A4H ? I believe the high speed version was only released mid March - at least thats what I was told ! The Chinese are now on their "Tomb sweeping" holiday, so you may not get much of a response until the 5th. Hopefully this is just a simple oversight & can be fixed quickly, as otherwise it sounds like these should be a good buy for the money....

Oily
With my extortionate bank charges & the bad USD rate at the moment (I went bank transfer, rather than Western Union money transfer), there was change from £440. If it's as good as the paper figures claim it to be, its very good value for money. Depending on how good it actually is, I'm debating importing them as a UK rep for Freeman ! SlowMo
Does it come with a 340wh battery pack? Oh, ok, I saw your post above. But for just a bit more.. you could have had a 340wh MCM4s.
Oily
As standard no - but the standard one is cheaper (options are 132wh, 264wh & 348wh, then you can go normal speed (18kmh) or HS (up to 30kmh)). 348wh is the biggest they do, and thats the one I have ordered.
