Inmotion
Hi @dpong, I bought my Ninebot One E+ here in Singapore and it came with the trolley handle as a bundle. The handle was in a seperate cardboard box with the Ninebot Logo on top. I have been told, that it was only released this May. The set contains three items. The pull rod, an accessory holder which has to be fixed onto the Ninebot. It has a roundish shape at one side and fits handsomely to the euc. And finally a fastener for the pull rod. Once the fastener is attached to the accessory holder one can remove the pull rod with one single move. It is faster than two shakes of a lambs tail. If you have the parking stand for the Ninebot as well, you can also attach the fastener to this accessory holder. However, I do have to agree with @Rotator, that the actual parking stand is not wide enough to provide proper stability. Hence I plan to stop by a DIY store to buy a longer 8mm steel bar to replace the current parking stand. Here are two links to dealers in Singapore and Australia which should give you an idea:http://www.passiongadgets.com/ninebot-trolley-handle.html http://www.electricunicycleonline.com/ninebot-one-pull-rod.html I really have no idea about dealers or distributors on your side of the pond, but would assume that the same handle should be available there too:Finally a video by SpeedyFeet about the same thing:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhRa72l-E9Q Hope I could help. Cheers!I've seen on pic Ninebot shown has the carry handle and the accesory for keep it stand up, are both compatible?
Noam
I've seen on pic Ninebot shown has the carry handle and the accesory for keep it stand up, are both compatible?Yes, the trolley handle can be fixed onto the accessory holder of the parking stand. So both would be at the same side of the Ninebot. Was that the question?
Inmotion
Yes, that was my question, thanks Noam I've ordered the backpack, the bag and the trolley, expecting parcel to arrive...I'm fed up of transport my ninebot to the car park where I practice using my shopping basket I only have used the green padding included, two rolls. When I tried to put the foam over the knee padding, The foam fell, like if the adhesive did not work in that surface.I have bought the trolley. It is useful, but you will need keeping the ninebot powered on while you carry it with the trolley. I believe that this would not drain the battery a lot, but only for your knowledge.Where did you buy it? I bought mine in Mediamarkt.Hi RotatorI also bought it on Mediamarkt, I paid the same as you did. It's working perfectly, so no need of returnsthe only main point now is to find out a pump for inflate tyre, as it is very low and I can't manage ninebot, I haven't practice anything because of that
Rotator
You need a valve extension. It is about 10 cm long, and you can screw it in the tire valve without remove the leds ring. And then you can pump the tire in this extension. When finished, remove the extension. Thats all. Easy.http://www.ebay.es/itm/191327784213
Inmotion
Yes I've already ordered one but I takes long to arrive so I'm also buying a pump that a user of this forum has recommended, I found it on Amazon and it takes 1 day to delivery it, so I'm expecting it for keep on training
Inmotion
Hi,Can any of you recommended any website for buying trolley handle? Regarding my progress, I'm DESPERATE, I can't see any progress, I'm unable to control it, it goes whatever it wants, I don't have any balance, is impossible for me to go straight, I always go to the left or to the right, to any wall near me, so I have to get off EUC for not hitting me against the wall/fence or whatever will be in my way I also hit my ankle again with the pedal. Today I've been thinking in throw in the towel, maybe EUC is not for me, it looks like I'll never be able to ride itLast night I had a dream, I was commuting to my job with my Ninebot, It was a nice dream, but today I feel so sad and depressed, it looks like that dream is miles awayI have seen dozens of tutorials, each time I watch any I feel more and more clumsy as looks like people learn it fast and enjoy riding it, meanwhile for my is a nightmare Any advise? Thanks
Daan
Any advise?ThanksDon't give up once it clicks, it is suddenly much easier. Progress is not linear on a EUC. Perhaps you can find a shopping cart and borrow that for a while to support yourself while riding. This will allow you to start feeling the balance. I think a cart is much better than a wall. Second best is someone running/walking next to you and holding your hand. Good luck! (and don't practice for more than 30 minutes at a time in the beginning)
Inmotion
Thank you Daan, I'll try to persuade my boyfriend for come with me and hold my hand while ridingMy practices are short, 20 to 40 minutes, usually 2 or 3 times per week mainly because I get tired very soon (Ninebot is heavy and my legs are not very strong, I'm a woman and I don't practice any sport at present, just walking)I have practiced figure ice skating during 6 years, and I also ride a bike; I used to ride a scooter as well, but EUC is by far the most hard to learn. Something is bound to work. If it's a balance issue then practice on a balance board. It should build up the strength and coordination of the muscles needed to ride. If you are going from left to right to left, etc. then you might need to learn to make smaller corrections. Also, if you are being forced to stop or turn to avoid obstacles then try to find a larger place with fewer obstacles so you can go any direction your EU takes you without worrying.I agree, don't give up trying. esaj
The learning curve for riding is very steep at the beginning, and every person learns at their own rate. I was lucky to pick up the riding fairly fast, but based on other peoples' experiences on this forum, it is not very common. I don't think there are any short cuts, the only way to learn is to practice a lot, although it can be frustrating at times. I got the mounting and dismounting right pretty fast, but rode circles and figure 8's for hours at the beginning to learn to turn the wheel precisely and exactly as much as I wanted. Same for hopping curbstones, slaloming between bumps, holes and sunken sewer lids, braking strongly etc. I also visited a nearby skate park lots of times in the beginning later at evening, when it was empty, to learn to ride the ramps and inclined surfaces in general. Inmotion
SirGeraint I think you are right, today I'm so frustrated coz I went to practice to a street at the back of my house and it is narrower than the car park where I use to practice, next day I will come back to car park, there I don't have to worry about walls as it is much bigger. Esaj it must be amazing to do as much things as you can do (ramps, curbstones and so on) but at present I just want to learn basic skills, good for you if you catched it faster than rest of people, but I'm in the other way, if it was I race I'll be the last one

The point was that the only way to learn is to practice, and it takes time, for some people less, for some people more. I picked up the very basics quite fast, but spent a lot of time to learn to become better at controlling the wheel, and when I say I "practiced for hours", I mean I rode and practiced different things for 0.5-4 hours every day I could for about a month in quiet parts of the town, before I felt really ready riding in the more crowded areas. Even after that, I'd say my "skills" have still developed and continue to develop, and there are still things I can't do, like riding backwards or fast off-road, after almost 1400km on both of my wheels in total.Don't feel bad if you don't learn fast, just don't give up. It can and will be frustrating, but I honestly believe at least most, if not all people can learn to ride, if they just give it enough time and practice a lot. You didn't learn to ride a bicycle as a kid just like that, did you? Somehow, as adults, we have the mindset that learning new things should be easier and faster for us than when we were kids, but riding an EUC is a very specific skill, unlike almost anything you do normally (unless you ride "normal" unicycles, that is). Inmotion
Thanks Esaj, I think today I am more sensitive than usual because It was my first practice since 4 or 5 days ago (I couldn't practice before coz I had to wait for a specific pump to arrive as pressure on my Ninebot was really low) and I don't know why I thought it would be better than It has been, in fact I have a nice bruise on my ankle and is swelled, besides of that I haven't seen any progress, it was awful like going back instead of progressing, quite frustrating; I suppose today is not my day Completely agree about practicing more and more, I know is the key, but I'm not a patient person I keep on trying, hope my next post will be more cheerful
Daan
I have practiced figure ice skating during 6 years, and I also ride a bike; I used to ride a scooter as well, but EUC is by far the most hard to learn. That you can ice skate is very good -- I wouldn't be surprised if it suddenly 'clicks' and you can just ride away. Two more tips:You cannot learn to ride a bike by just sitting on a bike -- you need speed. This is the same on the ewheel; make sure you have some speed and overcome initial fear of leaning forward.Try to find a wide open space like an unused parking lot -- walls are no good when learning; you need to feel the balance. Also trust the wheel -- the pedals are basically stable horizontal platforms; with some speed the thing stays upright all by itself -- don't do too much, but you do need some speed.Hope you can find someone to help holding you at the beginning or get a cart. that makes things much easier. Good luck :-)

Inmotion
Hi everyonei haven't practiced too much these days, but I followed advises received and went with my partner, hold the hand of somebody when riding is amazing, it helps a lotholding his hand I'm able to ride and turn, and last evening I just hold his hand without put any pressure on it, just resting my hand on his, mostly of the time I ride without using his help, but is good to know he's at my side for correct any balance problemNow I'm leaving on holidays and my ninebot is coming with me, as I'll have tons of spare time I'm going to practice a lot for being ready for ride it on Madrid as soon as I come backFinally I received trolley handle, but I haven't installed it as a beginner my ninebot hits the floor very often and I think handle can be damaged due to this, do you think so?Wish me luck EUC mates!!! I haven't checked if there's any reason that this wouldn't work but I thought I would put mine on the back so it wouldn't be as likely to get hit. But I would leave the handle part in my backpack. I was about to buy the one from Passion Gadgets until I found out that shipping (to the U.S.) would almost double the price. If you are in Europe maybe it won't cost so much. Inmotion
I've came back from my holidays I practiced there, as I was in a small village from the Spanish coast I didn't have a good place for practicing, I tried in a car park near the beach but was impossible, I spent 5 days there doing nothing, as I had to stop every time a car came. Finally I was able to find a better place, it was a street with 2 road lanes and with no exit, cars used it just for entering to a underground parking, so it was perfect, just some cars passed from time to timeI started to improve, I was able to ride!So right now I can ride as much meters as I want but just straight, I can also do slopes (not big ones) and slope curbs, I can also do wide turns, but very very wide, and I sometimes fall, but I'm very happy with my progress, as I was stuck

StreetMeatNYC
Alrighy, so I bought an E+ since these my first post, I moved most of the mods over, and have slowly been re-doing, improving. My next major project being a quick contact charging base. Here is a refreshed list and pictures: Black vinyl wrap, Black plasti-dip on leg pads Bondo rubberized bed spray on botom of pedals Skateboard grip on top of pedals Momentary toggle power switch with waterproof cover & plastic protector cover (missile launch style) Toggle switch with waterproof cover for light Light is 3W Super Bright LED, for now covered with vinyl wrap Electroluminescent tape for rear taillight Black reflective tape on front sides & back Mini GPS tracker installed as well. I can send it a text message and receive back a GPS location. It also texts me if it moves. In the middle of building a trolly handle into the right side leg pad (got two selfie sticks, drilled holes inserted and glued the two sticks and connected handle between em) left in office so no pic… Also in the middle of building a contact charge stand for it. Will be running flat copper wire up the two foot supports connected to battery, and will have to spring pin connectors in the stand. In pics its currently just a stand…
