3D Printed parts for e plus

Recommended Posts

Part 3

This bracket enable you to mount a larger light on the ninebot.

It has been working for me for a little while and has proved itself to be crash tolerant and no lights have  been destroyed so far'. It could also be used to mount a speedo.

Here is my first 3d printed part for the ninebot.

It is a bracket to enable mounting  of compact cycle lights, the type that are secured with rubber bands.

I have been out and about testing  and it works fine so far.

It is published at the link above if anyone is interested.

Do you have a measurement for the curvature of the ninebot frame or did you just print in Ninjaflex and bend it until it fit?

I have been meaning to do this but haven't had the time.

If you have the measurements I might be able to give a hand.  I'm decent at solidworks...

Hi Chris

I made the radius of the magnesium frame to be   220 mm.

Distance between the mounting holes 89 mm

Width  available 25 mm.

The Ninjaflex doesn't need to bend for the light bracket, it will work in PLA and should work in nylon, ABS etc.

I am working on some other things, or will be.

One of the reasons for using Ninja again is to see if I could make a more comfortable grippy battery cover.

Using ninjaflex or something like it for the outer and   something stronger for the inner.

Jer

Another part added to the collection for parts for ninebot one.

This bobby dazzler light bracket, converts the ninebot into a nightbot

Printed in flexible filament it has worked OK off road and bends sufficiently to avoid the bracket or the light breaking.  I do seem to fall off an awful lot.

It could also be used for mounting a speedo or anything else similiar that would go on a bicycle handlebar in  a more normal life.

I'd like to share my printed headlight clamps that fit on the trolley handle of my Ninebot One.

Two versions, one more bulky one using the headstrap; the other slim but probably only works with the exact same type of lamp.
