ir_fuel Posted August 24, 2019 Share Posted August 24, 2019 This of course happened at the only point in my 2 hour ride through the forest where I met some other people I had to scoop the gunk of the left footrest. It was a one inch thick layer of mud. Impossible to put my foot on it. Will be fun tomorrow morning when it's all dried out, I move the wheel and all the crap will start falling out ... Riding at the seaside is such a blast : small roads with little or no traffic, and cruising at the sea pier in the morning is so relaxing. Shame I'm reaching the autonomy limits of my wheel (25 - 30km) on more and more rides... I will say that I rode my wheel 10 miles to get to the airport and on the way home during rush hour (bad traffic) I was zipping in and out of a gridlocked street. Motorcycles were even stuck. A third of it was surprise off-road - my first time off-roading on an EUC! Tons of fun. When I was taking this picture today I didn't realize that the Ritz-Carlton was behind me, and that's where Lupe and I honeymooned 30-years ago. Funny story; we were inexperienced in life at that point and weren't familiar with the proper etiquette as it pertains to mini-bars. We just thought, "Wow, look at all this free stuff that they gave us". We consumed freely and even packed a bunch away as we left.
