At the time this picture was taken we were within 1/4 mi of the end of the “make your own trail” section which was still 15 miles from our cars, all of us just out of drinking water, and 4+/- water crossings left. I really don’t think at that point anybody would willingly jump into it with us but the overall ride was excellent. Water from an outside spigot had never tasted so good!

You've just reminded me my 8miles long walking trip with family members and their kids, it was about 10 people in total... The weather was amazing, we went for local waterfalls park walk, which is 8miles ... After about an hour of walking for the "adventure" the weather suddenly had changed? The sky went dark, windy ... AND THE HEAVY RAIN ?! We still kept thinking it won't last long until it's gone - we were wrong 😎 So we ended up walking long time under the heavy rain! Everybody was TOTALLY WET, I mean WET 🤣😂🤣 But you know some? We were so happy!, and we still reminding to ourselves that walk in positive way Would we wish to go throughout it again..,probably not 😎 It was a great walk spent together, though 😁😁😁 So probably I know what you mean. Popular Post Planemo
Taken on a camping trip to Hayle, Cornwall last week. Most people on the site were oap's (no kids as not on holidays yet) and the reactions to my campsite rides were somewhat priceless. I was genuinely worried that some onlookers were going to have a heart attack. All positive comments though (if I was 20 years younger etc...) Went out for a ride off site as well, I am not sure that a single person in the far south western corner of the UK had ever seen an euc before! Popular Post erk1024
Two days ago, somebody tried to steal my wheel! How I got into this hobby is that I saw a fellow amateur photographer using a scooter to get around Miami. It seemed like a really good idea because you can cover more ground. But when I started researching scooters, I found electric skateboards, OneWheels, and electric wheels (EUC's). The EUC's looked just WAY too fun not to try out, so I took the plunge and ordered a KS18xl. It's been a journey to say the least to become proficient on it. But now I'm at the point that I felt like I could put my cameras on my back and start using it for photography, as well as just having fun. So I pulled up to a building and leaned my wheel against a tree along with my helmet and wrist guards, and started walking around taking photos. eWheels are so unusual that most people don't recognize them at all, and just leave them alone. I was keeping an eye on it. This guy pulls up on a motorized scooter with fat wheels and started picking up my wrist guards and helmet. I think he would have been surprised by the weight of the wheel if he'd tried to pick it up. So I yelled at him, and he apologized profusely and backed off. He English wasn't good and I didn't interrogate him about his intentions. I wouldn't have believed anything he said anyway. But wow. The city. What can you say? Here is a shot with my wheel propped up against the tree... 6

Guest PogArt Artur
Lol It's the people's thing I guess. I was watching some TV documentary, where reporter was making up different scenarios to frame passers by, and talk to them afterwards, asking questions why did they do what they did... I remember the framing scenario, where in Winter time the reporter made somebody to lay down on the bench pretending sleeping drunk, and his hat was underneath... Passers were acting, or not at all, but then, one person took that hat and tried to went off with the trophy ?! ... So yeah - everything is possible 😎

It's reminded me stupid story of my friends... They went to other city to buy a quality camera, on their way back on the bus, they were so busy chatting, that they've left the camera under their seats and left the bus!? They had realised what just happened after some time!? Lol 🤣😂🤣🤣😂 They did track that bus, but unfortunately the new camera had changed the owner already 🤣🤣🤣 So stupid 😎 Edited July 7, 2019 by PogArt Artur
erk1024
@Jon Stern Miami definitely has a dark underbelly. There were many shady real estate transactions from corrupt countries. And people come here from rough places. https://www.governing.com/topics/finance/gov-real-estate-anonymous-foreign-buyer-regulations-federal.html Edited July 7, 2019 by erk1024 added text
