mrelwood Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Several good tips in the video, but no mention of tired, stiff or squeezing legs causing wobbles. He mentions deep squat braking as the only method of killing a wobble when it appears. In reality, braking can often make the wobbles worse, so you need to have your wobble braking technique in check before trying that. No mention of sharp carving or a heel-toe stance to kill the wobbles either. He also didn’t explain the basic principle of a tubular tire self-correcting itself at speed, which is arguably the main reason for a wobble to exist in the first place. I appreciate what be had tried to do with investigating wobbles, but he might’ve gotten better and more relevant information by reading a few of the several wobble related topics on this forum. Quote

Those are all great points. I actually had other tips to mention but I don’t like to make my videos more than 10 minutes long. I find that some people get turned off with really long explanations. I know I do. Lol. I found that with the heavier V13, I found that the similar braking technique I used on the Nikola would cause wobbles at high speed. I actually made the staggered pedal stance more staggered with the V13 as well as the heavy braking now more squatted to prevent wobbles. So far I haven’t had wobbles using the modified techniques. You are actually one of the people I follow on these forums. You have many great points on battery and EUC tech. 1 Quote
