joeboots
I've been tragically stuck without an EUC since I fried my MTen4 with water damage on NYE. I keep toying with the idea of buying another Mten4 for redundancy, and so I don't have to keep waiting for Alienrides to get my replacement BMS in. Also thinking about picking up a 16 incher for a second wheel. But what I really, actually want as a backup wheel, is an even smaller wheel. As small as the MTen4 is, it's way, way overpowered for about 50% of my typical trips that I'd otherwise make with an MTen4 or my electric cargo bike. Half the time, for the neighborhood city riding I'm doing, I really only need something capable of 8-12 mph and 4-7 miles of total range. I know everybody's curious if other mfgrs are going to come out with MTen4 clones. I'm now wondering, what's the smallest and most portable an EUC could theoretically be, and still deliver 8-15 mph top speeds and 4-10 miles of range with a 100kg+ rider? With current motor and battery technology. Could that be achieved in 20lbs? 15?
Tawpie
you're getting into the Onewheel pint territory... they're pretty good at those speeds and range.
gon2fast
Does not fit your needs, but still an entertaining review/demo...
rcgldr
Youtube video of a small one wheel converted into a tiny EUC. The only way to mount is to jump on both pedals at the same time:
