People can go read the comments there if they wish, and talk about colored lights here. What do you think? As previously alluded to in the thread by a member, sometimes encounters with police, especially in the US, can be fatal. Tyre Nichols is just one recent example. The YouTuber had stated police had issued a citation for speeding on a sidewalk, on a scooter capable of 50mph. Not everyone, including myself, has a BookFace account. @Paul A is doing us a favor by posting content we otherwise couldn't access. 2. @Paul A's posts are not only "on-topic" they are literally the topic. As such, why wouldn't they belong? They add very valuable perspective to anyone reading this thread and wondering whether the guy learned anything. Spoiler Spoiler: not even a little bit. 3. I have a strong suspicion that dude isn't the only EUC rider likely to have "testy" interactions with authorities. (The majority of us are humans, after all.) Reading his cautionary tale, especially if he is foolish enough to actually try to take his case near a court, might help steer people onto better paths. 4. Why are the reveal contents boxes necessary? Is someone being harmed by posting the young man's own words? He is a talented rider. It's too bad he can't hear constructive criticism and become a more positive figure in the EUC world. 5. The video requires accompanying discussion/disclaimers, because it does harm beyond just the EUC community. The whole incident is insulting to actual victims of Police misconduct. The video shows a person who doesn't understand basic Civics getting belligerent when Police do their jobs and ignore the court case he is trying to litigate on the street. But it's not flashing now - that's a gentle pulse at best ! Personally, I don't like lights where you can see the individual LEDs so much - I find them a bit tacky and 'xmas lights' to be honest. Indeed I've spent quite a lot of time trying lighting methods that don't show the LEDs like lightwire and diffused panels. In the end I have gone for LEDS and lasers, but hidden the former from direct view so you only get the glow... I had to turn my red aircraft level side lights off today; they were too damn bright in the dusk, and they were even putting me off in the dark bits ! Seriously just turn the damn lights to be in compliance with the law as written and the law is accessible to anyone who cares to look. If for some reason you disagree with the law, your beef isn’t with the cop tasked to enforce the laws as written. Can anyone think that a direct violation of a written law (for good reason) let it escalate to this point?
