Popular Post rebeuc
A friend that knew I'm into EUCs linked me to this Liberty Mutual insurance commercial which features EUCs. (I hope this is appropriate for this forum; I have no affiliation with liberty mutual and am just posting this because it involves EUCs and greatly amused me) 3 2
gon2fast
I like that that they ran the S18 into something for the last scene. Thanks for sharing as I do not watch much TV and surely would have missed this! Edited January 3, 2023 by gon2fast 1

rebeuc
Looks like they also have another much shorter variant of this commercial:
3euc
This is the "short" version.
3euc
And they also released this 6-second spot.
3euc
In all, so far, Liberty Mutual has released four commercial spots with EUCs, three of them two weeks ago, one of them 10 days ago. The 30-second version has gone viral on YouTube, with 5.5+ million views in its first two weeks, making it Liberty Mutual's #4 most watched video, and is still rising. https://youtu.be/NQ6dN2CaFtU Is this the first time EUCs have ever been featured in a national commercial campaign? I think maybe so! Not only that, Liberty Mutual is in the Top 100 of Fortune 500 companies, with annual revenue of about $50 billion. EUCs have definitely hit the big leagues now!
GHOSTTE
Ha! Speaking of, is there separate EUC insurance out there? For example there's car insurance, but that doesn't cover if you take your car to a race track and something happens. I'm guessing either no, or it would be packaged into something with other sports like mountain-biking, dirt-biking, etc

MetricUSA
Perhaps liberty mutual will be willing to provide euc insurance coverage...
Popular Post 3euc
It has been a little over two months since Liberty Mutual's commercials featuring EUCs were released. They have exposed (and continue to expose) EUCs to a huge audience, as I had anticipated when I was engaged to help make it happen. Without interest from enough new riders, the EUC market would have had trouble surviving on a long term basis. Existing riders can only buy so many EUCs, although I have certainly contributed my fair share in that regard! However, I believe gaining new riders is the key to EUCs continuing and evolving, something I know every member of this forum values. The 30-second Liberty Mutual version already has over 15 million views--and that's just on YouTube, not even counting the national campaign on TV and streaming services. Putting just the 15 million into perspective, that's more than double the views of the most popular video from Kuji Rolls, with 7 million views, but that was an outlier for him. His second most popular video has 1.6 million views and third most popular has 726k views. The two 15-second Liberty Mutual versions now have 1.3 million views each, and are still rising. I searched for the most viewed EUC videos anywhere, not just on YouTube. What I found was that only about 12 EUC videos have ever exceeded 1 million views, so three of the Liberty Mutual commercials are part of the dirty dozen with 1+ million views. Of the about 12 videos with 1+ million views, two are identical, posted on two different YouTube channels. A channel focusing on viral videos licensed this one video and achieved 50 million views with a YouTube Shorts vertical video format that automatically repeats and for this brief video many viewers undoubtedly let it play more than once without even realizing it. Another way the views got so high is it happened to be created in such a way that makes it difficult to tell when the video has begun again. Between those two unique features, of course its view count was boosted significantly, thus reaching 50 million. The 30-second Liberty Mutual commercial became the most viewed full frame EUC video ever in less than three weeks, and got there without it automatically looping, as does YouTube Shorts, and with a clear end to the video. Looking further at EUC video numbers, it appears that only about 50 videos have more than 100k views. Only about 30 have more than 200k views. And only 20 have more than 500k views. A handful of these videos date back as far as eight years, many are from three to six years ago. So three of these Liberty Mutual EUC videos scoring 1+ million views is really something, especially having only taken just over two months. Maybe the most important part of the Liberty Mutual commercials to EUCs is that they are reaching people who weren't looking for an EUC or perhaps had no clue that electric unicycles even existed, but suddenly they know it might really be a thing and may be inspired to look into it further, or people who sort of knew about them could be motivated to take it a step further. I am sometimes asked why I would participate in a commercial shoot that portrays the EUC as something potentially dangerous. If the comedy in the commercials is perceived as high risk or is actually enough to frighten someone into not trying an EUC, then perhaps they are better suited to another sport. And apparently they haven't seen any of the videos posted by experienced EUC riders! Any purchases made through 3euc.com or using my eWheels link are much appreciated and help me stay involved with the EUC world!
