jch
Got the kids hoverboards for Christmas and my son's started to malfunction not long after using it. The right wheel would lag and stutter and and jerk. When it would go, it would feel like a rock was stuck in the wheel or something. I removed the wheel and opened up the outer piece of the wheel that covers the motor inside the wheel. Where the first bearing sits on the shaft of the wheel I noticed a very thin washer that laid between the bearing and motor on the shaft. It was bent. I wasn't sure but straightened it out. It seemed to work because now the hoverboard works again. My question is, what is that specific washer called and is it supposed to be bent? It didn't sit right either, like it was slightly too large on the shaft? Anyone see this before?
