OldFartRides Posted December 20, 2022 Share Posted December 20, 2022 Now I know the humble little 16s is no single track off road contender, BUT… Over a year ago I bought a 16x2.4 ( 64x305) knobby for it and never got around to putting it on because I bought the s18 after I blew up the board on the 16s by setting it down while the wheel was spinning up due to the dicky cut out switch. I got a buddy interested in riding this summer, loaned him the wheel for an extended period, then decided to give it to him cause two of his daughters also took up riding it and they can’t justify a pricey toy like that. They live on a hillside farm, so I dug the tire out Saturday, went over and spent four hours swapping out the stock tire for the knobby ( I’m slow). Didn’t have to take much off the shells at the sidewalls, and there was no height issue either. Put about 25 psi in it, and away we went on snow and ice. Was really fun.
