Tawpie Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 if @supercurio's insider info ever sees the light of day, maybe? But EcoDrift had a v2 S18 with improved sliders a year and a half ago and... 1 Quote

Instead of people changing out the sliders I've been wanting someone to test graphite powder on the existing slider (will have to clean out any existing lube first). Reason being that graphite doesn't collect other material and that it has a wide operating temperature range. I still think that the supplied spring is likely an issue but if the friction can be eliminated on the slides, that might make a significant difference for people. If nothing else we will at least learn if the graphite is a good idea for this application or not. Edited November 24, 2022 by Roadpower 1 Quote
Roadpower Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Wow, only three hundred miles of use? That's a serious problem. Quote
MetricUSA Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 (edited) Because of all the damn friction no doubt...or jumping... Don't know... But I just saw a kingsong 2023 update and they had 8 rollers on their cnc slider!!!! Why are they not making it available to all of us suckers that bought into their shit??!! chanman Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 They might make it available once they're done messing around with the design and testing it out, I'm sure there's plenty of demand for it so retailers might be able to get a bunch of them and send them out (possibly at a cost) Quote
