  • Denny Paul changed the title to Mten4 announced!

Designwise we already have a Master Youngling (the T4), now this is a Master Hatchling :)

I would actually prefer it not to have any lights whatsoever in favor for even less weight, less complexity, less size -- the mten3 is definitely easier to fit in a backpack. Lights at this height are of little use (and I bet the 5000 lumen spec is misleading) and this is no road vehicle. Otherwise this oddity definitely fits a niche (ultraportable offroad vehicle? )

Dang! Beidou-bigdipper width tire too. I'm going to have to get one, maybe I won't have to pine for the very special weather conditions to ride trails in the winter. It even has trail lights, although I'm not sure if the trail lights are on the front or the back. (I guess the rear lights are trail lights since the spec sheet also mentions a headlight)

Anyone want a 67V MTen3?

It looks odd but could be an interesting wheel. I hope ewheels has it with a safe battery configuration.

Nice to see a revision to the mten3 in styling and perhaps a little in functionality with the larger battery and thus hopefully better safety margin.  Hopefully there will be some other quality improvements as well.

Small casual riding/last mile wheels like this are niche and it's good there is someone out there continuing to support/sell them.  I wish KS/inmotion had a competing wheel in this category or something in the 10-14inch size.

Are those spiked pedals? I cant tell.. If so its pretty funny this is coming with them.. and the T4 doesn't

AlienRides' pre-order page shows spiked pedals, but also has a 250USD option for Begode spiked pedals. So... ???

This i like more than T4. Doh could have been little bit "bigger". (16" tire.)

5 years ago the 16S was born with a "big" 840Wh battery. Now 750Wh equals a 11" tire...

But I definitely find this cute! Although, my first thought when I saw the Master design language was that they really did it and put a suspension on an Mten! Sadly no.

Not a wheel for me but it’s nice that they updated it. I guess there’s either a marker for this size or Begode doesn’t need a big market for their models.

But why do all wheels come with a knobby tire now??!?

Who’s the market for this EUC?

I bought the Mten3 on the recommendation of some prominent Youtubers, but I’ve never liked this wheel. Too sketchy at speed, no trolley handle, and never used it in a backpack. Plus, it got away from me twice and crashed and I still to this day don’t know what I did to have it drop.

Mten4, does it fit in a backpack? No trolley handle seems Begode didn’t upgrade this wheel in any meaningful way. Just big and ugly trying to keep the Master design style going. Too niche.

I hate this wheel!

yeah, the question isn't can the structure take it, it's can the batteries take it without causing a fire 8 months later when charging and burning your garage/dwelling down.

Can the motherboard take it and the wheel not randomly cut off on you at 20mph because the micro cracks in the motherboard finally gave when it got hot enough for the thousandth time and now you need pins in your wrist/elbow.

This is an inherent problem/risk with a one wheeled vehicle that is expected to handle high speed tumbling/crashing and keep working like a bike if you crashed your bike and not isolated to begode though inmotion is taking steps to reduce the risk on the v13.

Anyways, Good to see the shell can take a beating

I agree that the real concern is if the internals are durable enough. They should put it in a tumbler and see how long until it starts malfunctioning and/or burning.
