I made a quick video showing how I tested some Hall effect sensors.

i did make a tester for it years ago but I couldn’t find it so had to just test it manually. the tester consisted of a 5v power supply and some different coloured 5v LEDS mounted in a little plastic box and a range of different connectors for connecting to various wiring looms.

Hope this helps someone out sometime!
