John Eucist
So is Ninebot able to circumvent the Inventist lawsuits in the USA because of the Segway acquisition or something?

Planetpapi
@Tim, On the website it says Ninebot US version. What does it mean and how is it different from other Ninebots we bought else where? I understand the warranty benefit but is it any improved internally in terms of safety so you don't get sued here in USA? Also it comes with 2 year warranty as a promotion? What's the deal after the promotion ends?
Tim Haden
At the core the US version is the same (obviously ships with US power cables..) but because we're an authorized US retailer we're able to supply a 2 year warranty and perform any repair work in the US (should it be necessary). It also means you wont have to wait weeks for delivery of anything you order as we ship directly from our warehouse here in the US. This means that consumers wont have have the trouble of dealing with China in a purchase or any subsequent maintenance issues: language, timezones, shipping, delays, customs challenges etc. We haven't decided when the warranty promotion will end or what the standard warranty period will be yet. Make sense? PS - It's no safer and any newbie is still going to hurt themselves trying to learn how to ride...
Planetpapi
Thank you. Good to know that a nicer wheel is finally available in USA with all the 9 yards. Warranty, customer service, repairs, a phone number to call in English etc., Good luck in your new venture!
