I was looking to buy an electrical scooter and after quite the research I finally had settled on one model, when all of a sudden I started researching EUCs. I think they're really cool especially for the freedom they offer with them being extremely portable and versatile. Now I'm looking for a way to try one before I commit, so I was wondering if any of you guys knows of a way or perhaps is interested in a hangout for a few hours and a lunch invite? Hopefully I would be able to get the sense of it. Thanks let me know :-) You can't simply "try" it.. There's a learning curve - same as when you were little and first time learned riding bike without the "helper" wheels. (Meaning you will try nothing - as you need to learn to ride first.) I also was looking at e-scooter for myself. I even rented those scooters that sit around city multiple times. To "test" ride. It was easy to start going - you just step on it and go.. No learning curve needed at all. After some time my dad got himself a euc. So it was natural that i wanted to try it also. For the first 3 days i could not even ride one feet forwards. As soon as i place my second feet on pedals, the euc tipped over. Could not even ride 1 feet.. And i was trying ~20min each day or so. At 4th day i simply jumped on and leaned really hard forwards - that got my going. And the same day i already was going in circles left and right. So at start you may even think: WTF!!! How the HELL you ride this ducking shit.. Later you will love it. Even my 10yo sister learned to ride in week time. After some thinking and what not.. I got myself euc - it offer more range, more speed, and takes up less space, more portable. And overall are more pleasant to ride thanks to bigger tire. And much, much more FUN!!! It's at least 5x more fun than regular scooter. Yes you will hate the thing while "learning", but after it's so dam better than scooter. OldFartRides
Other side of the coin is that some people take right off on them. Couple of people I let try amazed me. If I was in Stockholm, I’d do lunch with you and then have some euc fun. Also, if you’ve been bit by the euc bug just looking at them and watching a few vids, it’s likely you would love riding them. Best of luck

As of right now no scooter for me until I get to the bottom of this :-) Most people who have had scooter, will go to euc later. Just check Wrong Way! video how a guy who rode scooter went to euc. You can't even compare scooter to euc in honesty. It's completely different pev-monster. Also get something bigger - than you really want. (If you wanna ride at 30speed get 40 speed wheel.) As over time you will want more performance. I personally would have been happy with ks16(22mph wheel.) But i would grow out of it really fast. So i got myself 18xl(31mph wheel.) As i ride mostly ~25mph it's the best wheel for me. (Also it's safer to get bigger wheel - it's not good to ride 22/22 speed as you have 0 "safety margin" - fastest way to get cutoff, making you crash. So if you plan riding 20mph, get wheel that can do at least 25mph.. Euc isn't like scooter which can keep going "max" speed all the time. You can overlean the wheel which is going at "max" speed, resulting in cutout - wheel turns off and you kiss ground. (That's why getting bigger wheel (More speed) = safer.)
