V12 not updating new firmware

Hi everyone, can't update my V12 for the life of me. Tried Android phone and iphone. Says I'm using the latest firmware but it's the old one. Any tricks or advice would be helpful. Also installed euc world, darkness bot and of course the inmotion app multiple times.

I am having the same issue, it would load to 90% and then lock up and display screen turns black. I am currently on a Google pixel 5a phone.

My word of advice is.. If it still functions after the update failed don't try the update anymore. Just my view but I've had my V12 bricked due to an update and had to wait for a new replacement board.

Is there a certain feature you need from the update? I was disappointed when I updated and the sound wave changed from the original cool effect to the bubbly farting around effect they should all have now.
