MetricUSA
Is anyone doing and transferring groceries home with eu? Not talking light, backpack shopping but several heavy bags. What's the best way? Little red wagon, another eu with sattle bags, a two wheel groceries cart, a kiddies bike cart?
dmethvin
I have carried groceries on my EUC using a backpack, the trip was about a mile. It wasn't bad because the load was balanced on my back. And by "groceries" I mean a six-pack of beer, bottle of wine, and a few other items. I don't think I would have wanted to carry a lot of heavy bags without some sort of cart that I would push. The large-wheel jogging strollers seem like they would be good choices, something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Double-Baby-Bike-Trailer-Stroller/dp/B015O59QUU/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1455839473&sr=8-33&keywords=big+wheel+stroller
glorat
Yep... put all groceries in a big backpack. Everything is nicely balanced that way. I've also done heavy bags in hand, that's okay too. Wagons or carts... no. EUC seems to dangerous for dragging things around. As an exercise, try going for a walk holding hands with your significant other while she walks and you cycle. It's a challenge and that's not even dragging something around. That being said, I did once drag my huge Samsonite suitcase around the smooth airport floor while riding. That was also a fun challenge but it was more for the fun than the convenience and the floor had to be smooth
