Coffee guy
I'm thrilled at joining the ranks of euc users. Although been riding for approximately 1 month, I've aggressively logged now over 62.7km. Looking forward to interacting with more of you in the forum(s), also in real. Now, can anyone tell me what the software funtion of the "Zero Point" is? Also, regarding the built-in overspeed protection, is there a way to (re) adjust it? JonTheMad
Does anyone know if the regular V3 with 144wh battery can be upgraded by replacing the 144whbattery with the 288wh batterypack that comes with this new model V3s?
Garin the engineer
Thay say a new firmware is coming in June that will allow for 20 km/h. As for the zero point - maybe it is for the time you crush it a couple of times and face the need to balance the damage.

Sorry, missed this one somehow... There's insufficient space inside the body of the V3C/Pro to accommodate the 40 cell pack found in the 'S'. steve454
I believe that is only for the advanced beta testers that wear sufficient protection and have experience falling off like EUC extreme.

Ahh too bad if thats the case ;( My experience is limited to 1800 km with only three powercuts at maxspeed (including one powercut wearing flip-flops). Though I guess that's not experience enough for riding the wheel at the hazardous speed of 20kmh... ?

You are certainly an advanced tester and extremely well qualified. I was kind of joking before I haven't even got that close to max speed yet. Jason McNeil
@JonTheMad have you tried contacting your reseller contact? There's an Inmotion App that allows you to change the speed to 20kph, but for liability, disclaimers, testing, would be best to go through the person who sold it to you. JonTheMad
@Jason McNeil I see thx for info Jason! Unfortunately my Swedish reseller don't seem to know much about much... Is there no other way to get hands on the app?
Hicks
I have new V3S, I have updated firmware to latest version. But mobile application offers just 18kmph speed limit. Had somebody same problem or you can set 20km/h instantly after firmware update? Thanks for any suggestion or comment.
Coffee guy
@Hicks, I've had the same problem as you. Even my seller/dealer couldn't get the upgrade to work. After each of several later attempts, I had to reinstall to the older firmware. That's what I run now on my V3S, with the original max speed of 18kph. Keith
@Hicks and @Coffee guy, see the below thread. Can I suggest you contact him and see if he is able to help you. If he is able to resolve your problem do please let us all know about it in the below thread.
Coffee guy
Hi @Keith. Yes, I've been following his posts. And although he sounds open, friendly (& helpful?), I noticed how evasive he was with some critical questions about new products. Anyway, sure I'll ask him. Hopefully he won't ask me to consult my dealer. But I'll be sure to inform him of those previous attempts as well.
Coffee guy
Ok, @Hicks and @Keith, following is the body of my email to King Ma about the firmware issue: Subj.: Inmotion firmware for V3S -not working Dear Sir, I am a member of electricunicycle.org (Coffee guy), and am responding to your open invitation to contact you regarding any inquiries about Inmotion products. As per the subject line, the firmware upgrade has not worked after several attempts, either by my authorized Inmotion distributor/seller in Switzerland or by myself. Can you offer me any alternative corrective measure, explanation, or insight, into this issue? Thanking you in advance. Respectfully submitted, James Kutchera

My dealear said that max speed of V3S is just 18km/h he don't know nothing about speed increase (may be it's not available for our region). What is your current FW version? What version you were unable to load to device?
Coffee guy
Hi @Hicks & @Keith. Till now I was very ill (in the hospital), hence no activity on the forum. So, till now, I've recieved no response from King Ma, at all. @Hicks, have to check my version then get back to you.
