WHAT

"WOMEN'S" EUS?

ARE THEY GOING TO BE PINK AND SPARKLY AND ONLY CAPABLE OF TRAVEL ONLY TO HAIR SALONS AND DEPARTMENT STORES? ARE THEY GOING TO BE LIGHTWEIGHT AND SLOW BECAUSE WOMEN ARE WEAK, AND GOING FAST IS FOR BOYS? ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE SPECIAL PEDDLE ATTACHMENTS SO WE CAN WEAR HIGH-HEELS WHILE RIDING THEM?

Wait that last one I'd actually find really handy...

I'M STILL INSULTED THOUGH.

I think the rep said they will be 14" but I'm not sure. I'd say it would be more of a marketing thing.

Oh, that... makes no sense.

Guess that's marketing for you.

Honestly, as long as it's not pink. Or only available in pastel colors and fluffy kitten print or something. Also hopefully they don't eventually end up coming full circle with it and making in X-TREME electric unicycle FOR MEN that's only avaliable in different shades of camouflage and is called the Ninebot One Bro.

'Women's' almost certainly refers to their weight-class.

i don't think it's that sexist to suggest the average woman can't comfortably lift 14kg

Still a bit of a silly idea though....

I mean, I don't think saying the average woman can lift less than the average man is sexist. I do think labeling the lightweight one as specifically and only "for women!" is. I'm sure there are plenty of men out there who would appreciate a lighter model, but who wouldn't want to have their weakness thrown in their face by being forced to choose between one that's too heavy or the one "for girls."

I think it would be okay if they end up partially aiming their marketing toward women, because it's true that many women would see lighter weight as an advantage. If they end up ONLY marketing to women, or calling it the Lady Ninebot or something, I think it'll be a huge marketing mistake.
