Zboink
So my Tesla now beeps every minute, on the minute whislt ridding. For context, whislt reparing a flat, I stupudly dropped a battery pack which obviusoly damaged it. So took it to get repired by a specialist, and he ended up having to change a few damaged cells. Popped the pack back in and all seems to be working just fine, rides great as always. Problem is now it beeps every minute whislt ridding, or as soon as it moves after stopped for a while (see video) Other than being very annoying to have you wheel beeping every single minute, I'm obviously concerned that someting might be wrong with it. Any ideas?
EMA
seems an EUC World sound , are you connected with the app ? maybe it's some kind of new alert
alcatraz
Hmm. Does it charge normally all the way to 100%? Are all the cables connected? What happens if you disconnect the pack that was repaired and power the unit on with only the original pack? Don't ride it, just power it on. You don't want to reconnect the packs with different levels of charge.

No ideia what it means though. Would you be able to shed some light oh great @Seba? 1 hour ago, alcatraz said: Hmm. Does it charge normally all the way to 100%? Are all the cables connected? I did triple check the cables before closing it up, but suppose it won't hurt to check agian. I did ride a bit with just the one working pack so wouldn't be keeping it at 100% charge whilst waiting foe the other to be repaired. No problems and no beeping. To be fair didnt think about the packs being at diffrent levels of charge. Though if it charged to 100% should mean they both did? If you save a log (csv file) euc world logs afair which alarm triggered. Could also be a connectivity problem? That euc world/the wheel beeps whenever it reconnects? This should also to be seen in the csv file? Or directly in the app? 10 minutes ago, Zboink said: Charged normally to 100%. Once the app shows 100% the battery is only charged to some 80-90%. Full charge is about reached once the charger led turns green. That's normally also enough for balancing. 10 minutes ago, Zboink said: I did triple check the cables before closing it up, but suppose it won't hurt to check agian. Maybe check the bluetooth antenna - if it's not a pcb antenna but some ~3cm long piece of wire. Maybe it slipped to some unfortionate place or is not "straight". 10 minutes ago, Zboink said: To be fair didnt think about the packs being at diffrent levels of charge. So you had some sparks reconnecting? You gave an idea of how much you used from the single battery? But connectors/wires survived? Afaik GW BMS have no overcurrent shutoff so no pack should have disconnected itself from the "system" - maybe just by some burned components/tracks at the BMS? 10 minutes ago, Zboink said: Though if it charged to 100% should mean they both did? Best to measure the voltage of both batteries disconnected to be sure. Otherwise do some range check for a known track if the percentages used are like normal. One pack not working should be very noticable - half capacity equals to double percentage drop!

Had a look at this and to be honest I don't reaaly understand the data enough to see anything. would need someone a bit more knowledgable haha Connectivity seems to be good, all ride data appears as shouold, speakers work just fine and all the normal beeps when starting up. Other than the stupid new one. 5 hours ago, Chriull said: Once the app shows 100% the battery is only charged to some 80-90%. Full charge is about reached once the charger led turns green. From what i remmber the good pack was at 90% (don't remember the voltage) and as said didn't think to check the repaired pack before plaugging it back in.. Will have to do a chill ride and check the range and see.
Popular Post Tawpie
The beep is likely the new 'heartbeat' indicating that EUCWorld is connected. There's a setting, try turning it off! 3

I'm guessing @Seba will default it to off in a future release. It's a good feature in my opinion, but one that's more for special case uses than 'automatically for everyone'. 1

Well on the app it did show as disabled, but when i turned it on and then off again, beeping disapeared. I can see its use but it did scare me there for a bit!!

alcatraz
That's a funny name for it. "heartbeat". Did the OP turn it on by mistake? I've never heard of it. I use eucworld sometimes.

Just had to turn it on and off again
