Makoben Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I purchased a TG-F3 from Banggood before Christmas and when it arrived, it was obvious the battery was deficient. When I charged it I would only get two lights and after two minutes I would be down to one. I emailed Banggod and they asked for a video showing my problem. I suggested to them if they would just send a new battery, I would install it. They agreed and ten days later, a very heavy package showed up in my mail box. Yes the United States Postal Service shipped a 260 watt Lipo battery to my door. Needless to say, I was very happy. When you buy directly from China, you don't expect much service, but Banggod stepped up and stood behind their product. I was even more surprised when I opened the package and found not only the battery, but a new mother board. I have installed both and my EU is working fine. I don't know if this is universal with all of Banggod's customers, but my experience was positive. Mike
TwixFix Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Congrats on getting your issues sorted out. Can you comment on how the battery was packaged and how it was delivered? You mentioned USPS but was there another courier involved before USPS handled the delivery? The reason I'm asking is I want to order a custom battery pack from 1Radwerkstatt in Germany, but they said the shipping is an issue and they don't know how to ship to the US at moment due to lithium batteries being banned from airlines.
Makoben Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 It came in a plastic bag with about two layers of bubble wrap. I think someone just didn't notify anyone what was inside. I was surprised the post office would deliver a lion battery, but I am glad I got it. mike

HOWEEVER, they will accept batteries of ANY size if they are being shipped installed in the device they are intended for. I dont know who writes their policies....
Makoben Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Yes, I am lucky and very happy because all of this happened after Christmas and all of the battery stories claiming the world will be doomed because of hover boards. I figured the only way I was going to get a battery was on "a slow boat from China". Mike
