Breadsticks
I got an exn with the knobby tyre, and just like my MSX, I need a semi flat tire to ride it. the higher the pressure, the more wobbles I get. Once I drop below 20 psi it feels flat. It tops out at 35 psi, is riding sub 25 ok? im 240 pounds, how much friggin psi should I be running? I don’t want to dent my rim but I’ve never had these big squishy knobs… I normally fill it up too high and slowly drop air until comfortable. also, where are these power pads supposed to be? Stand on the wheel and then stick them? What tape works best? Could really use help I love you all Edited December 25, 2021 by Breadsticks
mrelwood
For your weight I wouldn’t go below 30 psi on any wheel with that tire size. Until you get your riding legs conditioned, I’d stay below wobbling speeds and search for some tips on riding technique that can help. Breadsticks
I’ve got 2000 miles in on my msx, no problems popping up curbs or going down steps. ok I’ll try to inflate and keep it going thank you!!
M7SZY
Hi, im about the same and I ride 28psi on my knobby tyre (EXN). Very comfy and safe. Ok one to mention I don't jump or hit high curbs with speed, just taking slowly etc.
