Looks cool, I hardly found it on the pictures :D

Is there a special reason why you put the Parking-stand on the back of the wheel? I figure it could interfere with mounting, you might hit it with your foot when starting to ride.

Well, that was fast!  Nice job of the customization.  I also did the Grip Tape, it makes a world of difference.

That's a good looking tire!  Is it made for Unicycles?  I haven't seen that one around yet.

I found it @ speedyfeet.uk and bought it in Germany.... Its so smooth like a build-in suspension!

Here is the text to the tire:

SCHWALBE BIG APPLE 16INCH 2.00 TIRE

Fits the Ninebot ONE like a glove.

ABOUT THE BIG APPLE

The Big Apple started off the Balloonbike trend ten years ago: Comfortable cycling without using complicated technology! Air cushion tires are used as natural suspension. Inflated to around 2 Bar a Balloonbike rolls really easily and with a full suspension effect. A normal tire with a width of 37 mm must be inflated to a rock-hard 4 bar, in order to roll similarly well.

I believe it's 2.0" as opposed to 1.75".

Nice. I'm surprised more people on the forum don't talk about the effect of tire width on stability. Especially at slow speed.

my 2.5 on the Lhotz makes a world of difference to the stock Ninebot tire. Rock solid. You sacrifice in manoeuvrebility though.

Ecko, i love how you've matched the grays in the camouflage pattern with the leg pad.....completely neutralizes the eyesore (in my opinion) of the ninebots stock colour scheme. ?

I have to say @Paddylaz, that Lhotz is a good looking wheel!  Very Industrial, Means Business.

Oh I love it! It's a little chunkier than a 'bot, and I miss the integrated handle; but very sexy in the black/red configuration.

The 2.5 tire is so stable that not too long ago I ran into a 'botter (new verb I'm inventing) in Hyde Park and we swapped wheels for fun. I immediately felt like a rookie again because the knife edge (in comparison) of the Ninebot wheel made me realize just how reliant/lazy I had become on the Lhotz.....especially at low speed.

Also no tilt back until 27km/hr but unfortunately the beeping is so annoying from 23 onwards (much more intense than a Ninebot) that you'll rarely go that fast ?

Yeah, I have a hard time hearing the Warning Beep on the NineBot.  I use the Pedal Tilt as my warnings.

I do like the 'Knife Edge' though.  I use 55 PSI in my tire because I like the exact control it gives.

Thanks a lot! In my opinion the 2.00 big apple is really way more stable at low speed. Perfect fit for my behavior!

Can you tell me if your 2.00" tire has any more room on the Ninebot or does it fit exactly with no more room?  I'm looking at some fat 2.125" BMX knobby tires and thinking if it fits that'll be really nice for off roading.

Do you know the Schwalbe Mad Mike Tire? Its a real off road tire thats fits perfect on the Ninebot!

Yes but Mad Max is the same as the stock tire in width I think.  I'm wondering if an off road tire that's also wider like the common 2.125" bmx ones would fit?  That's why I asked how close the fit is on the 2" one you have.  If there's more room then maybe a fat 2.125" tire might work and give both good all terrain traction and smooth ride.

By the way Ecko, how did you go about doing that design? Is it paint? A transfer? Was this a custom spray job by speedy?

Still one of the most awesome customs I've seen

Oh too much honor.... Lol... Its a total simple car wrapping foil. If you heat it you can wrap it perfectly around the corners, thats all.... But i have to destroy the design soon, i want those light blue shells...
