Matt Goyder
Posting this for a friend who's GotWay MSuper 2 18" blew some resistors on the PCB. He has the high speed/low torque version. I've attached an image of R45 and R13 on the PCB. Could somebody please help me figure out which resisters I should purchase to replace these on the board? zlymex
This is the photo from my MSuper2. The value are all 300 Ohms and could be 2512 type(or 6432 type, 6.4mm by 3.2mm, 1 Watt) Edit: The two resistors may act as voltage dropper/fuse for DC-DC or something. If that is the case, something else could be damaged as well in the first place to cause these resistor burn out. You need to check this before replace R45 and R13 otherwise they may blow again. Matt Goyder
Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. And yes, whoever assembled it was a bit haphazard and plugged cables into any place it would fit. The board might be toast, or maybe these resistors saved it. Again we're trying to resurrect this from the dead before moving onto a more solid fix, i.e. board replacement.
