Planetpapi Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 I just replaced the learning strap with this nylon rope from home depot with a carabiner. The purpose is to act as a safety cord when you fall off. My concern is with pavement riding on the regular streets. Don't want my wheel to go and hit oncoming traffic. Gimlet Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 I find it useful to have a quick detach method at both ends. It's often easier to detach from the euc and tuck the trailing strap/cord into your trouser pocket, it's less likely to be a trip hazard that way.
