dudenas
I'm using it for daily commute, so no extra speed needed (also I'm not willing to dress up motorbike-armor twice a day). But I'd enjoy jumpability for cutting curbs. However, I'm a 90kg guy, and I guess using powerpads might easily lead to overpowering. Also, I can't even find examples mcm5s with powerpads - maybe it is just too small for attaching them, or maybe not ever needed? What do you think?
EMA
little wheels do not need any pads and you don't need pads for curbs too, mcm5 it's easy and fun out of the box

Curbs don't need pads. I can hop my mten, my 18xl and my sherman up a curb. Im also a 130lb weakling. Are you a very new rider? I always suggest to NOT use pads if you are a newer rider, as I believe it impedes muscle developement and skill in the beginning. Have you worked on merely grabbing with the ankles and popping up a curb? I've heard MY pads being used on an mcm5, but designed for jumping, they are not. It seems to me that perhaps Sai offers some blocks that will do what you are looking for. Edited August 18, 2021 by ShanesPlanet
The Fat Unicyclist
Aside from protecting your wheel, the Roll.nz EUC Bodyguard also provides the rider with better grip... and there is a model available for the MCM5. One of those might help you out.
