UKJ
Hello, I did a search so sorry if I missed this info. I build RC heli batteries soldering individual balance leads and always balance charge them. Do EUCs do this? King Songs most specific newer models? Thanks, ukj
esaj
It has been discussed in a number of threads, but could be hard to find (words balance and balancing occur on a lots of other topics too). AFAIK, the BMS in the battery pack handles the balancing. Apparently the balancing only happens at full voltage, so the wheel should be left on charger now and then even after the charger light turns green. More info for example here (this post & entire thread in general): http://forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/2182-question-for-double-battery-build/?do=findComment&comment=28489
UKJ
Sorry I should have titled the thread post "Do EUC charging systems" balance charge as that is what I ment thinking that the BMS would control the balance function not the external charger. Although it sure would seem nice to be able to know all your cell voltages at will to be able to weed out one going bad! Thanks to @Keith for info on other post in KS threads. ukj
