Dogmaticjoe Posted August 4, 2021 Share Posted August 4, 2021 I ordered the KS18XL and it should be arriving within the week after it's long boat ride but I was wondering if the wheel that I ordered from ewheels comes with the 2.5 amp charger or the stock 1.5 amp charger and if I should buy the fast charger for $150 or just get a second normal charger which is like $80 both from ewheels. Just not sure if it comes with the 2.5 because if it comes with only a 1.5 buying the second standard ewheels charger wont even get me up to the 5 amps that would only be 4amps. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He will more than likely say 'Shane who?'. I have no idea if he'll give ya a break or bll you more for knowing me. I really like the 'fast' chargers, tho I typically charge slowly. Its nice to have a charger than can charge fast or slow and has a somewhat accurate readout on it. Also, if you ever want to store the wheel for a long period of time, you can charge to 80% with it. Of course, given the choice between a charger now or a ROllNZ cover now, I'd go cover and hold off. The stock charger seems just fine, but when you have a wheel that needs almost ZERO modifications, you gotta shower it with some money somehow... You are simply going to LOVE the 18xl. I ride mine all the time and blistering it up to top speed(padless even) is effortless. However, its such a smooth ride, its not hard to heed the beeps and settle in at 25mph and be happy. I think I will just stick with the stock charger for now because if i need it its fine because it seems like where I live I'm in the 1 day shipping time area so if I decide i need it once i get my wheel it won't take long. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Problem with the virus is, youll THINK you need another and youll be right. Another wheel that is. Just dont make the mistake to think there's 'better'. There isnt. There is only different, as you started far from the bottom. Enjoy it man, and get you a droid device to run eucw and take advantage of some smooth rollin tunes from the wheel as you do. Remember to fully charge the wheel, check tire pressure, unlock and check speed settings in an app, calibrate it for level, and enjoy the ride!
