Well after all the deliberations i went with a Nikola (used) at a great price. Think it will serve me well and its got enough ooomph to keep me going til i think of my next wheel lol.

Oh yeah, better learn how to ride it first!!!!!!

Good choice. A solid and chunky wheel for a solid and chunky guy:o! Even better, its had the new knocked off it so you can enjoy it properly. The Nik is a gloss black wheel, those first scratches are hard to get over, I've seen it happen.

Be sure to have some patience and keep those learning sessions short. Don't wear yourself out, it makes it harder. Youll also learn while you sleep. CONGRATS!!

this thread reminds me:

I'm jealous of my kids who zip around with their lower body weight!

I have an IPS Lhotz: fun wheel, 16", good for off-road

however,

It is a shadow next to my Gotway MSuper2. The power, torque, and 18" wheel are a great ride.

I haven't been riding much distance outside of the driveway lately, but I'd like to get back to commuting on the EU

I am 180 lb 6 ft and both of the above choices worked, the Gotway just had so much more power.
