I need your help - what is your wheel free spin speed?

Recommended Posts

MTen3, 67v 420 WH, "early 2021" (black shell, does have motor cutoff button). No indication of installed FW but I didn't bother getting the Gotway app.

3 trials, all show max free-spin at 24.5 mph (miles, not km... I'm in the colonies)

Sherman often underestimates the voltage.  Most likely you had a full 100.8V :)

My Sherman lowers the voltage by 1V (I checked with a multimeter).

Mine below.

Gotway seems to increment the BT ID reliably over the years, perhaps it could be a method of inferring "old FW vs new FW"?

Will it be an available power alarm? :) - "You have less than 20% of power available - be careful don't accelerate more"

MSX v2 - 84V (1600Wh):

Test1 - 79.6 km/h

Test2 - 80.6 km/h

Test3 - 80.0 km/h

MCM5 v2 - 67V (310Wh):

Test1 - 49.3 km/h

Test2 - 48.8 km/h

Test3 - 48.5 km/h

uh, the request for idle speed concerns the BEGODE/GOTWAY and Veteran.... :)

I'm not the commenter to whom you were responding, but FWIW I think opening up the present topic to all makes/models (emphasizing/keeping the same explicit methodology Seba laid out in the first post) would be an excellent community resource. (With @Seba's permission, of course.)

I noticed on the Denis Hagov's MCM5 V2 video the no load was 64 kmh which lines up with yours. I wonder why mine only tops out at 61.8. The mother board was produced in 20210323 so maybe they made some changes since the earlier V2s? Also interesting given that I don't have the black motherboard.
