Seba Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 Hi! I'm preparing for some long distance tours this year on my King Song KS-18XL and want to put on a CST C-1488 18x2.5 tire. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding a store in Europe that has this model in stock. I'm looking specifically for this tire model because the popular H-5102 tire offers inferior grip, especially on dirt roads. Does anyone of you know a store that has these tires in stock and is able to deliver the order to Poland? I will be very grateful for any help. What about real motorcycle grade tire, from reputable brand Cant say it gonna fit but here you are : Bridgestone Battlax 70/90-14 - https://allegro.pl/oferta/bridgestone-70-90-14-sc-f-34p-tl-19-10677109249 This, or the Michelin, are street use. EUC Custom Power-Pads Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) Hi Seba, I was a big fan of the CST-C1488 until I tried a other one. The CST-C1488 is compared to the CST-C1773 a crappy tire and I would never switch back. Not sure if the size you need is available, because I have the size 16x3.0 for my 16X. At least one other guy over at french forum has the same conclusion. I can can give you mine if you can pick it up in the Paris area. But I wouldn’t recommend it. I really want to invest in something of the best quality. I will take some time to fix lot of things on my KS11L: tire, trolley, bearings and maybe sides (if only I can find new ones for a decent price)... You have of course to select 18x2.5 (last choice on the right) About delivery time, it wont hurt to have a spare - if you find faster solution.
