Did anyone used grip tape on the pedals?

Wondering if anyone of you used grip tape on the pedals. I understand they work good in normal conditions but what about in wet conditions? Do they retain the grip in wet conditions too? I have  a grip paint in a  spray can. Wondering if it sticks to aluminum.

OR is it a bad idea to stick some "rubber"  pattern to the top of pedals? I have a TG-F3 and I guess most wheels share the same pedal design ( aluminium+ some grid)  except few.

Grip tape works fine in the rain. I used to cover my skateboard with it. It does peal though and needs to be replaced from time to time. Bring your wheel to your local skate shop and see what they have to offer. They can help you with what to put on those pedals. Also, be prepared to cut it to fit your needs, a box cutter works. I might add grip tape to mine later on after the rubber in my pedals wear out, maybe even sooner.

YES, I have put anti-skit tape on every pedal of my Solowheel.

In the wet and rain, especially during last winter, the pedals were far too slippery for my taste.

For a few Euros, I bought a slab op skateboard tape and cut strips of it with scissors. Works perfectly.

Only issue I have is that over time, the tape on the pedals becomes very worn and often is pulled sideways from all the forces you put on it with your feet. Especially if  I have done some heavy manoeuvring on the street, the tape is sliding off.

I just pull it off and then apply a new strip.

Wouldn't not want to ride without it any more.

That's a TRIPLE negative. :D

Yes, saw it too late, but wasn't able to correct it.

But you understand my point. THAT's how much I don't want to ride without the grip tape :) :) :)
