Zackthecrafter Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Hopefully this isn't against any rules, but I feel like discord is a more organized way to discuss ideas for DIYing. I've had the idea to start a project/community based around building custom EUCs similar to the "EGG" open source EUC project in an effort to make cheaper EUCs than what is currently available on the market, while still achieving good performance. Or possibly hacking/modding cheaper Chinese models to achieve the same thing. Any thoughts? Quote
Tawpie Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 I'd lurk on that server. Couldn't contribute much value (I'd volunteer to be the token smartalek) but it'd be fun to see what is out there! 1 Quote

I don't have much to contribute either, but I can always look to invite others who have more experience than myself! Quote
Tawpie Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Viz on this forum’s discord server is a diy person, check the #ninebot thread. But it seems like such a topic might be interesting right here too, perhaps the mods could make a sub forum? Quote
discobiscuit Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 The current discord has the community posting different mods, and people are quite active there. https://discord.gg/HEVkX5RKBm 1 Quote
