GothamMike Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 The pedals are not like my KS18L, they are very flush against the body. I cannot open them with my boot, or even with my hand in a glove (I always wear tactical boots and gloves). Any ideas? Quote

GothamMike Posted April 23, 2021 Author Posted April 23, 2021 Yes, the likely choice. I'd like something to use my toe with. Quote
RockyTop Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Some people use 3D printed “ pedal kickers” mounted near the hinge. I have made up a few designed by others and given away on request. I can see how they would be useful. I haven’t designed my own. They would have to be stuck on with glue or sticky tape and I am not a fan of stick on. ........ However if this is a Veteran problem I will look into a solution. Is 3M still the best sticky tape? Alcohol wipes are a must with sticky tape. ...... OK Rabit hole, here I come. 1 Quote
Puckface Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I took a small piece of 1/2” thick foam (about 1”x2” rectangle) with adhesive backing and glued a rectangular metal plate (from a magnetic cabinet door catch - about $1.50 each at your local hardware store) to the non-adhesive side. It helps to bevel the foam a little to match the not-quite-vertical pedal angle but it still works fine without. The key is to situate the foam and metal plate on the pedal (magnet) and then remove the adhesive backing and close the pedal to make sure you get optimal placement on the side panel. 1 Quote
